Security & Data

Built around controlled access and purpose-limited data use.

Inventory Avenue is designed around customer-authorized integrations, purpose-limited data use, and practical controls for the inventory and business information required to provide the service.

Principles

Access what is needed. Protect it. Keep control with the customer.

Data minimization

Least Access Necessary

Inventory Avenue requests only the permissions reasonably required for enabled functionality.

Authorization

Authorization-Based Integrations

Where supported, customers connect third-party services using provider-authorized methods such as OAuth rather than sharing third-party account passwords with Inventory Avenue.

Transport

Encrypted Transport

Production web traffic and supported integration traffic are transmitted using HTTPS/TLS.

Access

Controlled Access

Inventory Avenue is primarily made available to approved users and organizations.

Retention

Retention Discipline

Connected data is retained according to operational need, contractual obligations, provider requirements, and applicable law.

Response

Incident Response

Security concerns can be reported to [email protected] or through the contact form using the Security / Privacy Request category.

Connected services

Third-party systems remain under their own security and privacy terms.

Inventory Avenue connects to external services only to provide customer-enabled functionality. Exact scopes, fields, and retention can vary by integration, permissions, and configuration.

QuickBooks

Uses customer-authorized access for supported accounting workflows. Inventory Avenue does not require your QuickBooks password.

Commerce channels

Shopify, eBay, Amazon, and Walmart integrations are subject to provider APIs, scopes, roles, seller permissions, and applicable platform policies.

Disconnecting

Customers can revoke connected-service access and may request deletion of eligible information, subject to legal or business retention requirements.

Inventory Avenue connects to third-party services only when authorized by the customer or otherwise enabled for the customer’s account. Permissions and available data vary by integration. Inventory Avenue uses connected data to provide the requested inventory, warehouse, commerce, purchasing, order, accounting, and related operational functionality. Third-party services remain governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
